“Help one another. There’s no time like the present, and no present like the time.”
Bappa Pratishthan was founded in 2003 by Adv. Mrs. Vandana Pradeep Hakay and Mr. Pradeep Chintaman Hakay with a deep-rooted vision to foster sustainable development and empower underserved communities across India. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a respected organization dedicated to natural resource management, education, women empowerment, and skill development.
With over two decades of dedicated service, Bappa Pratishthan has successfully implemented 20+ projects focused on community upliftment. Our work spans key areas such as environmental sustainability, capacity building, vocational training, and gender equality. Central to our approach is collaboration—with state and central government bodies, corporate CSR partners, and grassroots NGOs—to deliver locally relevant, high-impact programs.
We believe in inclusive growth, where every individual has the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead a life of dignity. Under the leadership of our founders, the organization continues to operate with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to social change.

To provide leadership in designing and implementing natural resource management and community development programs through a locally based delivery system, working in close collaboration with local, state, and central government authorities.
To be a recognized and respected leader in community transformation, promoting knowledge, integrity, and quality while ensuring gender equality, inclusive development, and growth free from social stereotypes.
We believe in transparency, inclusivity, sustainability, and social equity. Our actions are guided by respect for all communities, ethical responsibility, and a strong commitment to long-term positive impact.
Bappa Pratishthan envisions establishing a comprehensive shelter home in metro and semi-metro cities that serves as a safe haven for the most vulnerable groups in society—including orphaned children, senior citizens, working women, and others in need of support and care.
With a goal to support over 3,000 individuals, the shelter will provide dignity, safety, and a nurturing environment to help each resident rebuild their life. We seek in-kind contributions (food, clothing, furniture, medical support) and monetary donations to bring this vision to life.
